Configuring proper user rights on repository/database

This document explains the official database rights that needs to be given to the EZ-Control Admin Center users. This information is applicable to the following software:
  • EZ-Compliance Admin Center
  • EZ-Workflow Admin Center
  • EZ-Dashboard Admin Center
  • EZ-Language
  • DEM Import Module (also known as ImportBPDA)
Database connections are support in both SQL and Windows authentication.

The best and easiest configuration is to grant DBO Owner (DBO) rights to every users of the Admin Center software. Note that this is not needed for users of the various Web-Portals.

If your organization requires tighter security, find below the minimum required rights:
  • Alter
  • Authenticate
  • Connect
  • Create Table
  • Drop Table
  • Delete
  • Execute
  • Insert
  • Select
